My Maps from Google

Google has come up with a new enhancement to its Google Maps service. The My Maps feature enables users to mark up, annotate and draw lines and polygons directly within the Google Maps interface. With this new feature, making mashups is no more restricted to only the developers who make use of the Google Maps API.

Google Maps and Google Earth go hand in hand. Once a map is created, you can export it to KML and thereby view it in Google Earth. Use the KML link to download a KML file of the map you’ve created, and then open the file in Google Earth.
